As architects we hit a wall when MEP designers give us placeholders for wall and floor openings - often as generic models - and we need to schedule them and all their host data (wall type, thickness, fire rating, acoustic performance). Then add a third party - fire stopping company - and the coordination fun begins. I found out it's much easier to compare the excel files than go opening by opening and fill up the excel schedule manually. This saved me hours already (changes, linked models.. you know the drill) and I believe it's generic enough to help more people. Cheers!
